[ Yeah, Rean was the biggest worrywart this side of Poland, so.
He'll come in, looking over the other carefully. ]
How are you feeling, after all of that?
[ He didn't care ask if he was alright. But he was a little worried about what had happened to him and hoping whatever they did to him didn't hurt either. ]
[ Rean placed himself into a chair and settled his hands on his lap gently, nodding his head in thanks. ]
...If you'd like, I could make you something to eat.
[ If there was a place where he could obtain a sewing kit, Rean would think about sewing the poor guy a sweater. Though that'd also require some fabric hanging around... ]
I’m sure someone will get food together later, if last week is any indication. But that would be nice, yes.
[he’ll end up hungry later anyway! nothing is itchy or tasty yet, though, thankfully...]
Everything else will probably improve in time.
[...he rubs his temples, though...]
...they washed my shirt and tunic for me, but I don’t actually know if I can put them on without poking holes in them... that just about sums all of this up, doesn’t it.
...Goddess, there’s this fried pheasant dish back home where you can put the fried bird halves together with cheese in the middle like it’s a sandwich if you feel like you’ve given up on life. And that’s what’s coming to mind right now.
[can’t believe the fucking double down is canon....]
...but I’ll eat anything other than sweets. Anyway, I can likely find something in the opera house, if nothing else.
...
I have weathered worse than this before. It’s never easy, of course, but I will be able to carry on.
[ That sounds incredibly unhealthy, damn. He didn't think Seteth was the type to eat that sort of thing, but if anything it was a little funny than being judgment-worthy.
Though Rean and cheese was a disaster waiting to happen. His one weakness. ]
Hmm...I could give it a try, but if somehow it didn't work out, I could probably easily put together a hotpot of meat.
[ He'll nod at hearing the other's words following. ]
I'm also glad to hear that, Seteth. I had a feeling you'd be able to do well in moving along, though I figured having someone there with you for a bit might help.
[double downs are a sometimes food, he won’t eat it every day alright, but it’s like medicine with really bad side effects... except for the soul instead of the body.]
Oh, that sounds good, too... well, like I said, I’m not difficult to please.
...it’s nice to have someone to talk to, though, even so. Thank you for checking in on me.
Can you be honest with me? What do you think about our chances, in this situation? I've heard what other people have said, but I've been wondering what you were thinking...
I don't know, honestly. Though, I have seen more hopeless situations turn out well. I think... what we need is to keep going instead of giving in to despair. If we do that, that guarantees we'll lose any chance we do have.
[ He'll actually laugh a little at that. It's small, short, and earnest.
It's...not mocking, though. ]
I'm really glad someone else thinks so too. I mean, not to say I don't understand why everyone wasn't really on the same thought process exactly, but...it feels easier when you hear someone else say the same you've said before.
Oh, I absolutely won't say I don't understand why people are feeling like there isn't hope. This all feels designed to wear us down little by little, really; but at the same time, if you notice that and you can keep hope going, that's a victory in and of itself, is it not?
I think it's possible. Where there's a will, there's a way, Seteth.
Though I think what'll help convince them would be finding more answers and solutions to our problem. A part of it is never wavering in our faith either, as an example.
...I also know it's going to be really hard too. We've really got our work cut out for us, but I won't stop believing. Not for anything.
Of course, of course. I think part of it is that we don't know how the information we do have is intended to fit together, which is discouraging... but I am sure we will find the truth in time.
post trial, week 2
So here's a knock on your door, Seteh, after some trial and error. ]
Seteh? Can we talk for a bit?
no subject
...ah, okay, he should've expected this. He'll go to the door, then.]
Ah, certainly, Rean. Come in.
[...he looks kind of tired, but he looks mostly okay, at least.]
no subject
He'll come in, looking over the other carefully. ]
How are you feeling, after all of that?
[ He didn't care ask if he was alright. But he was a little worried about what had happened to him and hoping whatever they did to him didn't hurt either. ]
no subject
...I'm a bit tired, a bit cold, and very hungry, on the physical front. I feel like what happened is more inconvenient than anything.
no subject
[ Rean placed himself into a chair and settled his hands on his lap gently, nodding his head in thanks. ]
...If you'd like, I could make you something to eat.

[ Poor guy has a huge appetite for probably the next ... who knows? ]
It does, in a way. If they ever have a place where we can obtain sewing materials, I could probably do something to help a little with that too.
But, I completely understand that today's been really a rough day for you.

Though the hotpot will be happening because cheese and Rean = messing up a meal. ]
Haha, well that's good to know. I'll go ahead and begin the preparations right now, and bring it back to you.
[ He'll rise right after he said that. ]
It's really no problem. We're all in this together, right?
no subject
[they’ve got time, he’s sure.]
We certainly are. I do wish some of us were more aware of that, but I suppose you always encounter those sorts.
pppppost trial week 4
Which was something Rean wouldn't say at all but here they were, after all of that. He'll give the man's door a soft knocking. ]
Seteh? Are you in?
no subject
Yes, I am. You would like to come in, I assume?
no subject
[ He'll look a little sheepish, and he will wait for the other to move. ]
It's really been a long day, hasn't it?
no subject
[He'll walk back into his room and sit down on the bed, leaving the chair for Rean.]
Honestly, I was not even sure who the culprit was outside of Ignis by the end of things...
no subject
[ So he didn't know how to feel about that. But, bias won the day, so.
Cheers? ]
I'm just glad he didn't get away with it.
no subject
[like, he was a shitty nihilist, but man, no fucking wonder he was a shitty nihilist.]
Well. As long as we got the correct culprit, I suppose.
no subject
[ Whoops. He almost said a mean thing because still holding grudge over Pizza's death, and he'll clear his throat.
Yeah, he didn't like Ulquiorra at all. ]
-sorry, I mean, you're right. That's what matters in the end.
no subject
[yeah like, fuck that guy, honestly]
no subject
I guess so.

...Yeah, I'd really say so.
