[ Seeing Seteth being so shy was a prize all on its own. One which he will gladly take in return for him deciding to be so benevolent in matters like these. Indeed, what else could he call it?

Perhaps a sign of the beginning of his courtship of this brave man sitting right beside him. That too was a proper way to define it as well.

That being said... ]

A great King such as myself can be patient when the moment and situation requires it. Though only to those who deserve the honor of being allowed such a privilege in the first place.

Rejoice, Seteth, that you are considered to be one of those deserving of such a thing. It only helps that we, above the simple mongrels who walk this world, will have so much more time to consider such matters. And to eventually see where this path will lead us...which will be towards, no doubt, a desirable end of some sort.

To that end, I imagine I will enjoy every single moment with you, considering the type of man you are. Whether that be holding a simple, yet pleasant discussion, or seeing how easily you would fluster, among other things.

[ ...And yet, here Gilgamesh was, still in his own head considering the end result to be a given where he would get what he desired. Because why wouldn't he? ]

[ Part of him had expected to hear something like that from Seteth. A smaller part of him asked why he would say these things knowing this, but perhaps he'd have rather heard the man say it. Such was the nature of King Gilgamesh.

These little, but amusing protests were simply more proof that the man he had been endeared towards hadn't changed from the honest man he had appeared to be. ]

Hm, I do suppose it would be odd to hear yourself champion your long-lived status over others, like myself. No, that would be far too ill-suiting of someone of your nature.

[ He smirked again...or rather, it was possible it hadn't really faded from his expression much. ]

Therefore, out of the generosity and magnanimity of my heart, I have decided to grant your request. There are appropriately far more qualities that you exhibit which warrant praise for me to give when I decide to. Just as I have a short few moments ago. Besides, it would be unfortunate to see you pout for the rest of evening just because I could not do such a simple thing for you.
